We’re proud of the fact that many of our long-standing staff members have worked with us their entire careers, and even retired from our practice (but still come to see us for their checkups and cleanings, of course!). With a consistent and knowledgeable team, our patients are able to feel comfortable and safe in our care, as they get to see the same friendly faces at each appointment. CarolAnn
Office Manager
With over a decade of experience in the dental field and a love for being able to care for her wonderful community, CarolAnn is an excellent asset to our Wiggs Family Dentistry team. She enjoys being able to work alongside such wonderful people. She attended Wake Forest University and Physical Therapy School at Emory University.
From Raleigh, CarolAnn is happily married to Dr. Wiggs. They have two boys that keep them busy with sports, as well as a golden retriever. Whenever they’re not at the office, they enjoy fishing, traveling, watching the Canes play, and going to see live music. Although CarolAnn manages the office, she’s actually a practicing physical therapist in Raleigh. She loves being able to help people feel their best in their daily lives and while doing recreational activities!
Lauren
Front Office Administrator
Lauren finds the most rewarding part of her career as having the opportunity to shape each patient’s experience from the very first interaction. She takes pride in creating a welcoming, organized atmosphere where patients feel comfortable, heard, and valued. She earned her associate degree from Miller Motte College and attended the University of Phoenix, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business and Certificate in Management. She is also a Registered Dental Assistant and has her certifications in nitrous oxide monitoring, coronal polishing, and taking X-rays.
From Raleigh, Lauren grew up in the area as an only child. She’s very close to her parents, and she cherishes spending time with them. She’s happily married and enjoys hiking, listening to music, and the creative arts. She has two dogs, a Beagle and Samoyed, who are absolutely spoiled! Lauren and her husband are in a local band, so you can always find them writing and recording music and gigging on the weekends!
Kristen
Registered Dental Hygienist
With over two decades of experience in the dental field, Kristen values helping her patients and building lasting and educational relationships with them. She also loves working at a small, personal private practice. She attended Wayne Community College’s dental hygiene school and is CPR-certified. She also has experience working with special needs and medically compromised patients.
Originally from Northeastern, North Carolina, Kristen has been married to her husband for over 20 years. Together, they have three adult children and a dog named Maci. In her free time, she enjoys going hiking and kayaking, working in the yard, traveling, and watching her youngest play lacrosse.
Samantha
Registered Dental Hygienist
Samantha has nearly two decades of experience working in the dental field and enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients. She attended dental hygiene school at the University of Maine and holds her Independent Practice Dental Hygienist License, as well as certifications and permits in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration.
Originally from Ellsworth, Maine, Samantha is excited to have recently moved to North Carolina with her husband. Together, they have two adult children, one in nursing school and one living in Blue Hill, Maine. Samantha enjoys traveling as well as spending time with family and friends at home. You can find her hosting BBQs and playing yard games, as well as boating and fishing. She also enjoys trying new restaurants, attending local events, and cuddling her pets, Zora and Luna. An interesting fact about Samantha is that she puts M&Ms on her pizza, which always gets a “That’s interesting…” from whoever sees her do it!
Morgan
Dental Assistant
Morgan has several years of experience and enjoys working with such a collaborative team. She attended Vance Granville Community College and NC Dental U, where she completed their dental assisting program and earned her certification.
Originally from Franklinton, Morgan’s family includes her parents and sister. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, hanging out on the farm, and spending time with her puppy. She considers herself to be a very motivated person!
