Advanced Dental Technology Raleigh
Evolving Dentistry for Over 40 Years

Even though our practice opened in 1978, you wouldn’t be able to tell when you stepped inside our office. We’ve consistently invested in the latest proven technology. It allows us to be more transparent and precise while making sure your experience is comfortable, predictable, and best of all, successful no matter which procedure(s) you need.
Cone Beam CT Scanner

A traditional dental X-ray only gives us a closer view of a few teeth, but with our cone beam CT scanner, we can see the big picture as well as the small details. A 3D image that includes all of your teeth, both jaws, sinuses, facial nerves, and more is generated in seconds. When it comes to finding issues that might be hidden from the naked eye (like root infections) or planning advanced procedures like dental implant placement, this gives us all the information we need and more.
Digital Impressions

We scan your mouth in seconds, and on a nearby monitor, you see a perfect digital impression of your teeth appear. That sounds much nicer compared to biting into a mold filled with putty like the old days, right? In addition to being more comfortable, less messy, and faster, digital impressions also give us much more detail. That means we can design crowns, veneers, dentures, and more so they deliver just the right look, fit, and function for each patient.
Soft Tissue Laser

If you’re struggling with gum disease (redness, tenderness, bad breath, gum recession), our soft tissue laser can gently remove the source of the problem. Focused light is able to target and remove bacteria-laden calculus (tartar) deep below the gum line while leaving any healthy tissue untouched. It’s a more conservative approach than the traditional way that also reduces post-treatment bleeding, swelling, and soreness to practically nothing.
Intraoral Camera

Rather than just telling you about everything going on in your mouth, we can show you! This small device captures highly detailed images of your teeth and gums close-up that we can then send to a large, chairside monitor. Dr. Wiggs will walk you through his findings, making it easier to understand his treatment recommendations. After treatment, he can also show you how much better your teeth look!
